MakerX 2018 will be held at the Reynoldsburg Battelle Fablab and Reynoldsburg Performing Arts Center. This contemporary and attractive school facility is located just east of the intersection of highways 270 and I-70 at 8579 Summit Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.  It provides excellent amenities for the event, including:

Ample free parking.

A large, partially covered, outdoor space for exhibits and food trucks.

A very large Performing Arts Center with pre-event space, multi-level flat floors, and two stories of side galleries,

The fabalab itself.

A large number of wide hallways and open spaces for exhibit tables.

Extensive open seating (indoor and outdoor) and restroom facilities.

And of course many classrooms of various sizes and configurations for workshops.

Potential exhibitors: to stimulate your thinking about what is possible with the 30,000+ sq. ft. available for exhibits and workshops, we have included floor plans of the spaces we will be using as well as photos of the facility below. Accepted exhibitors will be able to visit the site prior to the event to finalize their space planning with the planning committee.

You can view the 1st floor and 2nd floor plans with square footage numbers. We have available the vast majority of these spaces.

The entrance provides a large and partially covered apron for exhibits that need to be outside.
The Performing Arts Center has a large, two story pre-event space for exhibits.

The Performing Arts Center is massive and highly configurable.
All the tiered seating risers push back to provide multiple levels of flat floors.
Plenty of room for the robots to run amok in the Performing Arts Center.
The two floors of gallery bays on each side of the main floors provide especially dramatic spots for exhibit tables.
The “great hall” is one of the more unique classroom spaces available for exhibits.
Extra wide hallways in the building provide lots of room for exhibit tables.
A selection of contemporary style classrooms are available for workshops.
The fablab contains a variety of spaces for small workshops and demos.
Things will get messy.
There is ample open seating indoors and out at the facility.
